History

While First Magnus is more widely recognized on the national level for its wholesale lending division, our roots run deep in the retail lending arena. Our very first office was a Charter Funding retail branch located in Tucson, Arizona, which remains home to our corporate offices today. What would prove to be Charter Funding's secret for success catapulted us to distinction as the largest retail lender in Southern Arizona within our first several months of operation.

From our retail origins in Tucson, First Magnus made the easy transition into the wholesale lending arena with the opening of our first office in the Phoenix metropolitan area. From there we opened several offices throughout the islands of Hawaii and in southern California with rapid expansion from there in both our retail and wholesale divisions.
